Welcome to our new minister. Rev. Yoomi Yi was appointed to the United Methodist Church of Linden on July 1. She recently served as the Senior Pastor at the Bergen Point Community Church in Bayonne. Prior to Bergen Point, she served as the Worship and Church School Director at First UMC of Ridgefield Park, and established a new praise team ministry. She has experience in children, youth, and music ministries. Her earlier career was in Information Technology as systems analyst in Financial, Manufacturing, and non-Profit industries. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry, a M.Div., and MA in Ministry completed in May from Drew Theological Seminary. She and her husband Hail David Yi have two adult children.

Linden UMC has a congregation which shares its talents and offers a wide variety of programs including a weekly worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Linden UMC also offers Sunday school, Bible study, prayer chains, fellowship, coffee hour, celebrating birthdays each month and UMW meetings along with opening a day care service to serve the community. The church supports missions through special offerings of needed items throughout the year. Its Bountiful Baskets helps provide food for needy families in the community.
